The Hackathon
We want to invite all data scientists, data enthusiasts, researchers, students and data professionals to share there skills with us and join the hackathon !
In the weeks leading up to the event, this project aims to gather any relevant data together into one open data environment. On November 25th and 26th, the diHub is hosting a data4good hackathon at Auberge des 3 Fontaines in Brussels, where data scientists can come together to aid in fighting the Dengue problem. After the event, this open data environment will remain open to anyone to continue future analyses. This won’t be a solution to the Dengue problem, but through the implementation of new and innovative methods, data and data science can help predict and stop the spread of infectious diseases.
The hackathon’s welcome ceremony will take place at 18:00 on November 25th, but the doors will open at 12:00. Thirty-six hours later, the hackathon will end at 24:00.
